The future of BMW

German carmaker says it will increase value and profits, 
introduce new models as it targets two million cars by 2020


MUNICH: BMW late last week unveiled its long-awaited long-term strategy, predicting it would sell “clearly more than two million vehicles” a year by 2020 and save $8.5 billion by 2012.

BMW sold a record 1.37 million motorcycles and automobiles under the BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brands in 2006.
