THE Embassy of the United States
in Manila and computer school STI Colleges inked a one-year agreement
formalizing the internship program of STI’s Information
Communication Technology (ICT) students to be assigned to the US
Embassy Information Technology department.
The US Embassy has chosen the STI
College Taft branch for the internship program, amove that will make
the school world-class.
Beginning this month, US
Embassy Information Management Officer Roger Johnson will interview
qualified third and fourth year ICT students of STI College Taft.
The US Embassy has chosen STI
because it recognizes the private educational institution to be
committed in developing individuals who will become valuable and
productive contributors to society through innovative ICT and ICT-enabled
learning and career planning systems.
Chicky S. Recheta, Alumni
and Career Services manager, sees this internship program as a
“proof of STI’s commitment to increase the employability of
our graduates by providing the best training ground for our students
in the fields of ICT and ICT-enabled programs.”
