Archers shoot down Warriors

DE LA SALLE banked on its championship experience to pull off a 64-63 upset win over University of the East in Game One of the 70th University Athletic Association of the Philippines men’s basketball best-of-three title showdown at the Araneta Coliseum Thursday.

Veteran guard Tyrone Tang hauled down 4 rebounds and topscored with 17 points, including 9 points in the fourth quarter, as the Green Archers moved to within a win of clinching the title after being suspended last year.
