GMA issues gag order
on military |

President issues order to improve RP’s human rights
record |

In a move that will likely
provoke the Senate, President Gloria Arroyo placed a gag order on
the military preventing them from talking about or disclosing
information on matters of “national security.”
Mrs. Arroyo signed on Thursday
Administrative Order 197, which the Palace said intends to protect
military documents and other sensitive matters by keeping them away
from the public.
