Manny Pacquiao proved his first win over Marco
Antonio Barrera four years ago was no fluke as he again beat the
Mexican fistic icon Sunday with a lopsided 12-round decision before
a crowd of 10,112 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las
Vegas, Nevada.
Unlike their first meeting where Pacquiao
dominate Barrera via a resounding 11th round technical knockout, the
return encounter was more subdued as the protagonists took a more
tactical approach. Still, Pacquiao proved stronger and more powerful
even against a better prepared Barrera.
