Pucay bags Asean Tour RP leg title

 
LIPA CITY: Mars Pucay fired a final round four-under-par 68 Saturday to capture the Philippine leg of the Asean Tour after overnight co-leader Orlan Sumcad failed to keep in step at the Malarayat layout here.

Pucay, after briefly yielding the lead to Sumcad, pulled even with a birdie on No. 3 before zooming away with another birdie on the 12th to win by three strokes over Rey Pagunsan, who fired a 69, with an eight-under 280 total.
