Amazing animals on Planet Q

BECAUSE the Animal Planet channel is such a big hit on cable television, the creative team of QTV 11 thought it is wise to launch a similar show but featuring kids and their adventures with animals.

Set to air this Saturday, Planet Q is a weekly program showcasing the planet’s funniest and most interesting features on animals, nature and the environment. The program will feature a combination of videos lifted from the popular US TV program, The Planet’s Funniest Animals, and equally interesting locally produced segments which will be hosted by Vanessa Rangadhol, Renzo Almario, Rita Iringan, Pocholo Bustamante and Julie Anne San Jose or more popularly known as Sugarpop.

Besides providing a number of helpful tips on pet care, interesting trivia and animal facts, Planet Q will also teach children about animal care and responsibilities of pet owners. The kids will visit locations like the Butterfly Pavilion, Orchidarium and Planetarium and if the program rates, expect them to visit other countries and learn about the panda, kangaroo or the koala.
