Vote-buying reported, others ran unopposed

Meantime, 65 out of the 84 retiring barangay captains ran for councilor


DAGUPAN CITY: Vote-buying was reported widespread in Pangasinan in this barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, according to reports of various radio stations.

The blotters of police stations in different towns and cities are replete with complaints by candidates accusing their opponents with alleged vote-buying, said the Philippine News Agency on Monday.
