Mayors deny
‘gambling
lord’ financed Thai trip |

SAN JOSE, Antique: The 14 Antique mayors who recently attended a
travel-study program in Thailand denied reports that their trip was
a junket financed by a known gambling lord to seeking to promote
jueteng in Antique.
In an interview, newly elected
Antique Mayor’s League President Joyce Roquero of Valderrama said
they went to Bangkok for a Lakbay-Aral program of the League of
Municipalities in the Philippines.
