Another suspect in the killing of
seven-year-old Geraldine Palma was arrested by police in San Jose
del Monte, Bulacan, Thursday morning. Joey Igos was arrested by
barangay watchmen and operatives of the Manila Police District’s
Homicide Division, headed by Chief Insp. Alejandro Yanquiling, in
Barangay Minuyan, San Jose del Monte.
Residents recognized Igos after
his artist’s sketch was broadcasted on television Wednesday
evening.
Senate President Manuel Villar
gave an assurance Thursday that the Senate is on track working
“full blast” on all priority bills left pending when the
Thirteenth Congress adjourned in June.
