Group twisting truth on JPEPA–DA official


 There is no provision in the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) allowing Japanese vessels to fish in Philippine waters.

Agriculture Undersecretary Segfredo Serrano gave the assurance in response to a news item titled “Group says new fertilizer aid tied to JPEPA,” that appeared in the September 7 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
