Archers get back at Eagles

PROLIFIC point guard Jayvee Casio sizzled with 21 points as De La Salle University survived Ateneo de Manila University, 70-69, Wednesday to secure the No. 2 spot in the semifinal round of the 70th University Athletic Associating of the Philippines men’s basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum.

Casio, who also had rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists, teamed up with the dynamic Tyrone Tang in a 7-0 run that gave the Archers a 59-54 fourth-quarter lead which they tried to protect en route to victory.
