THE only daughter of actor in exile Gabby Concepcion
and megastar Sharon Cuneta has just finished her international
corporate communications degree at the American University in Paris
and is back in the country. Even if Kristina Cassandra
Concepcion’s mom says that her daughter’s four-year European
education costs her an arm and a leg, everyone realizes that it
won’t take long before KC earns back everything her mom has spent
on her—maybe more!
ABS-CBN has reportedly paid her a
huge talent fee for a TV special shot in Paris. Now, the Agustins
and Bitongs of the female fashion brand BAYO has beat the others in
signing up KC to be the brand’s newest endorser. That simply means
that KC will get a talent fee close to what Lea Salonga got years
ago. Lea was, and still is, the highest paid endorser of Bayo.
Besides Lea, KC is in the elite
company of Danielle Cojuangco, Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal.
Danielle’s star didn’t take off and both Kitchie’s and
Barbie’s careers have taken on a plateau after their few years of
fame.
“For many years now we’ve
always thought of having her beautiful face graces our billboards,
stores and print ads. The prospect of her as our endorser literally
fell on our laps when a friend informed us that we might be able to
get KC this year. Of course, we were all excited but scared at the
same time because we wanted her so much that the thought of losing
her to some other brand was daunting,” explains Corcor Bitong, who
together with her sister Lynn Agustin worked hard on the deal.
Lynn and their youngest sister
Yvette Lejano, the merchandise manager of BAYO, were on hand to
ensure that the BAYO collections would look perfect on KC during the
day of the photo shoot. Jenni Epperson was called in as stylist and
the ever-reliable Juan Sarte did the makeup. The pictorial went on
smoothly as KC’s experience and exposure to the world has brought
her so much confidence in how she projected herself in front of the
camera.
Watch out for the big event that
BAYO is cooking up this October. Of course, KC will be the main
event.
