Philippine PC manufacturer Neo and multinational computer processor
maker Intel have jointly launched a new 16,999-peso (406-dollar)
mini laptop, spokesmen said Saturday.
The Neo Explore is a "ruggedized and
shock-proof" laptop with a keyboard that will not be damaged by
spillages of liquids, said Neo spokeswoman Mariel Que.
New games releases for spring 2008 include a range of sport themes,
with a new version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 specially for Wii, a
blue tennis-playing hedgehog, high-def racing cars and a "god
of war" combat game, complete with high gore and ancient Greek
mythology.
Twenty two of the world's leading telecom operators, in
collaboration with Tier 1 vendors, are laying the foundations for
the next wave of digital convergence at the Fixed Mobile Convergence
Alliance (FMCA) meeting in Rio de Janeiro, in mid March.
