THE Provincial Government of Laguna headed by Gov. Teresita
“Ningning” Lazaro launched a golf tournament for a cause last
Wednesday at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Canlubang,
Calamba City.
The event dubbed as Gov. Teresita Lazaro
Golf’s Showdown: Search for the Best aims to raise fund for the
renovation and restoration of the St. Augustine Parish in Barangay
Parian, Calamba City and the St. Magdalene Parish in Brgy. Gulod,
Cabuyao.
Laguna is home to the world-class Canlubang Golf
and Country Club and Lazaro has envisioned a charity or benefit game
to assist her needy constituents.
Presidential son and Pampanga Rep. Mickey Arroyo
led a total of 185 participants in the event.
