OneE-com Center rises as prime business hub

THE newly-opened OneE-com Center building is fast rising as the country’s prime hub for business and commerce, with major companies already taking advantage of its state-of-the-art facilities.

Located within the SM Group’s sprawling Mall of Asia Complex, the 105,857 square-meter OneE-com Center is a 10-storey building designed for the modern office, including e-commerce, contact centers, business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, customer relationship management (CRM) services and specialized office uses.

Designed by international firm Arquitectonica and Architect Felix Lim, OneE-comCenter has a gross floor area of 98,651 square meters. It features a fifth-level courtyard and a typical office floor plate of 9,000 square meters with two and a half levels for parking with 600 slots.

“The OneE-comCenter has been designed to provide today’s businesses with all the modern amenities required in their everyday operations,” said Josefino Lucas, executive vice president-real property of SM Investments Corporation (SMIC). “This is part of SMIC’s overall plans of developing the Mall of Asia Complex into a foremost business district in the Philippines.

The OneE-comCenter is equipped with cutting-edge facilities such as multi-telco redundancy entry points, 100% back-up power supply, and chiller system air-conditioning to meet the growing needs of companies, especially those with 24/7 operations.

Equally important is the layout of the quadrant-designed building, which features four entrances and four lobbies for every quadrant; and 14 top-of-the-line elevators serving the building’s 10 levels, ensuring easy access and a smooth flow of people and machine traffic moving in and out of all the offices.

The building also features a second level bridge way connecting the building to the SM Mall of Asia, giving employees and tenants a most convenient way to visit the Mall of Asia and its numerous shops and retail outlets.

Also noteworthy is the presence of recreational facilities such as badminton and basketball courts at the deck level, which allow tenants to engage in leisure activities as well.

Current occupants of OneE-ComCenter include American President Lines, Merck’s, TeleTech, Pro V, ACS, TRG, Ace Computer School for Entrepreneur, and EXL Services, a first time investor in the Philippines.

The corporate offices of SMIC and Watsons are also located in OneE-ComCenter. Businesses on the first level include Fitness First, the Cyberzone, Conlin’s, Blenz, McDonald’s, HSBC, Bacolod Chicken Inasal, Banco de Oro, Globe, PLDT, Starbucks, and 7-11.
