Resident of BF Homes, Parañaque on Monday complained
about the alleged illegal operation conducted by the Las Pinas
police who arrested three security guards manning their posts in
various gates of the subdivision Sunday night.
The homeowners identified
the three security guards as Ernesto Temenia, Richie Hayaman, and
Peter Manzano, employees of the Manila Shooters Security Guards (MSSG).
United BF Homes Subdivision
Inc.(UBFHAI) president Celso Reyes said that the three were nabbed
by operatives from the Las Piñas City police department at around
9:30 p.m Sunday.
Reyes added that they will ask
for an investigation over the “illegal” raid, which he said
could be another offshoot of the ongoing legal battle at the Housing
Land Use and Regulatory Board between his group and another faction
of the homeowners.
The HLURB earlier appointed a
Management Committee (Mancom) to temporarily run the affairs of the
UBFHAI over allegations of fund misuse filed by a former member of
the association.
The raid was led by Las Piñas
Police Community precinct 4 Commander, Chief Inspector Arnold
Alabastro. Villagers also identified the following as the policemen
who arrested the guards: Gavel Cupas, Ireneo Pareno and Ilandro
Baldeso.
Reyes said the raid could be
related to the ongoing legal tussle between the Mancom officials
appointed by the Housing board, composed of “disgruntled” former
officials of the UBFHAI, and the newly elected officials of the
homeowners’ association.
In the latest election of the
homeowners’ association, Reyes won as president for the 9th year
since no one ran against him.
