Bunye, the taxpayer
Yes, every civic-spirited
Filipino should pay his income tax promptly and in the correct
amount (Manila Times editorial, Pay your taxes, April 8). Especially
the political and moral do-gooders who claim they are patriotic and
wish the nation well.
Let us follow the example of
Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye who
personally went to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Office in
Paranaque City on the first week of March to pay his income tax for
the year 2007. Mabuhay ka, Secretary Bunye.
