ZAMBOANGA CITY: Abu Sayyaf militants freed six
people whom they earlier kidnapped in Sulu, police said on Thursday.
Sulu police chief Julasirim Kasim said the six
men were freed Wednesday after the families of the victims paid an
unspecified amount of money to the kidnappers headed by Gafur
Jumdail.
