Wizards cast spell on Celtics
|
|
WASHINGTON: Boston will have the best regular-season record in the
National Basketball Association (NBA), but the Washington Wizards
sent a message Wednesday that they can topple the mighty Celtics in
the playoffs.
Antawn Jamison scored 27 points and grabbed 11
rebounds, while Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler each added 13 points
as the Wizards beat Boston 109-95 to claim the season series 3-1
over the NBA’s winningest team.
