Celtics, Lakers win opener

BOSTON: Ray Allen scored 12 of 18 points in the third quarter as
Boston Celtics got off to a flying starting in the NBA playoffs
Sunday by beating the Atlanta Hawks 104-81 in their best-of-seven
series.
The Celtics, who are seeking their 17th NBA
crown, won a whopping 66 games in the regular season.
