Filipino drifter to show stuff

LANCE FELICIANO, a Filipino drifter based in the United States, is set to see action in the 1st Race Wars Philippines 2008 on Saturday at the Clark Expo inside the Clark Economic Freeport Zone.

Feliciano, son of former rally driver Larry Feliciano, is the first and youngest Filipino to be issued a professional drifting license by Formula D—America’s professional drifting series. He is also one of only 38 drivers to have that credential.

In 2006, Feliciano, who is supported by Whiz Oil, LF Performance and Von Braven Corp., competed in his first Pro-Am event on the Irwindale Speedway in California where he defeated 55 other drivers to earn the right to represent the West Coast in the US Nationals in Las Vegas Nevada. He finished second overall in the prestigious event.
