Convergys one of world’s best
outsourcing service providers

 
CINCINNATI—Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, has announced the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has selected Convergys as one of the world’s best out­sourcing service providers.

The IAOP named Convergys to its annual ranking of the World’s Best Outsourcing Service Providers-The Global Outsourcing 100. The list includes the biggest and best companies from around the world that provide the full spectrum of outsourcing services.

“We are honored to be named to this select list of global outsourcing companies,” said Dave Dougherty, Convergys’ president and chief executive officer. “This recognition demonstrates how well our focus on relationship management is resonating in the marketplace. With our relationship management strategy, Convergys provides business impacting solutions for our clients, helping them drive greater value from their customer relationships.”

The IAOP named Convergys to the Global Outsourcing 100 based in part on the following criteria: the value Convergys brings to its clients’ customer experience; the depth and breadth of Convergys competencies demonstrated through industry recognition, relevant certifications, and their investment in the development of people, process, and technologies; the experience and accomplishments of Convergys’ executive team; and its investment in relationship management systems that ensure outsour­cing success.

The IAOP announced the companies named to the Global Outsourcing 100 list at the 2008 Outsourcing World Summit in Orlando . The complete list will be published in the special May 5, FORTUNE 500 issue of the magazine.

Meantime, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Magazine has also named Convergys as a service leader in outsourcing in its “2008 Service Awards” issue—its fifth annual review of industry innovation and success. In making the award, CRM referred to Convergys’ strong customer satisfaction rating“ scoring 4.5 out of 5 - and efforts to explore opportunities in Spanish-speaking markets.
