ATENEO de Manila University and Lyceum of the Philippines try to
make the most of the remaining games in the elims to toughen up for
the quarters as action in the Shakey’s V-League Season 5 resumes
Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Eagles, sporting a 3-5 win-loss record,
meet the winless St. Benilde Blazers at 2 p.m.
The Lady Pirates, on the other hand, are
expected to face a tough challenge against the San Sebastian College
(SSC) Lady Stags in their 12 noon encounter.
Adamson University (8-0) and the Lady Stags
(7-1) have earned outright semis berths in this league organized by
Sports Vision and supported by Active White skin whitening products,
Mail and More, ICT call center, Mikasa and Accel.
SSC, already boasting of local talents, is again
tapping the services of former Thai import Jaroensri Bualee.
The SSC-Lyceum match will be aired on NBN-4
starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday while the Ateneo-St. Benilde duel will
