THE Circle of Friends Foundation, Inc. (COFFI) will hold a golf
tournament on May 16 at the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club
in Calamba, Laguna.
Attractive prizes in four categories (A,B,C and
women) await the winners while additional prizes are at stake in the
fun holes.

The tournament, which is supported by Buergli
Pharma, Inc., Metro Drug, Inc., Micro-Biological Laboratory, Inc.,
Zuellig Pharma, Inc., Hans Brumann, Edgardo Enriquez, El Nido
Resorts, Mercury Drug, Inc., New Marketlink International, Inc.,
Pascual Laboratories, Werdenberg, Inc. and The Manila Times, aims to
raise funds for Wheelmobile, the country’s first transport service
for people in wheelchairs.
The COFFI, which was founded in 1998, provides
mobility and dignity to people in wheelchairs. Since 2003, through
the generous support of individual and corporate sponsors, it has
rolled out four Wheelmobiles. The foundation also supports
livelihood for people in wheelchairs through professional sewing,
woodwork and artwork. Its latest project, “Happy Feet,” provides
nonsurgical treatment of inborn club foot deformity.
