Sepcial to the times
Saving the Earth takes more than
one day. Environmentalism is more than just about slogans and songs.
At the Earth Day Jam 2008 on April 25 in Tomas Morato Street, Quezon
City, hundreds of people joined Filipino musicians in learning about
concrete ways we can help lessen our impact on the environment.
Offstage, we find out how musicians are doing their part to live
more environmental lives 365 days a year.
The concert aims to inform,
educate and campaign for people to be aware of the problems in the
environment, said Lou Bonnevie, executive producer of Dimitri
Productions, who spearheaded the concert together with the local
government of Quezon City.
