All-new Chrysler Town & Country makes Philippine debut

CATS Motors Inc., the Philippine distributor of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles, on April 22 aptly launched the thoroughly upscale all-new Chrysler Town & Country Touring Edition minivan at an equally posh Makati polo grounds venue. With its new product, Chrysler says it raises the bar as far as premium family transportation is concerned

Looking at the new Town & Country, that isn’t difficult to believe.

Chrysler, which is credited for inventing the minivan genre through its Dodge Caravan nameplate, has had extensive experience in minivans having sold 12 million units since 1983. In more recent years, the carmaker’s Town & Country has been at the forefront when it comes to luxurious family rides.

Chrysler said that with the new Town & Country, it has “once again reinvented the ideal family-friendly mobile to make today’s busy life much more convenient, comfortable and luxurious.” It added that “no other minivan can cleverly offer the ultimate in flexibility.”

The new Town & Country’s exceptional innovations ensure comfort in the longest of journeys, Chrysler said. The industry’s first Stow ‘n Go fold-flat-to-the-floor seating and storage system allows for extra space. Windows, sliding doors and rear lift-gate are all power-operated. Front and side curtain airbags are standard. The Town & Country’s solid handling, extremely quiet and luxurious interiors make seating for up to seven travelers a blissful experience, the carmaker said.

It also dubbed its new minivan as a “family room on wheels.”

CATS Motors President Felix Ang said, “True to Chrysler’s American heritage of innovation and luxury, the all-new Town & Country embodies the brand’s famed legacy of premium quality and styling to make for a first-class family experience.”

For his part, Chrysler South-East Asia Pte. Ltd. Managing Director Peter MacKenzie said, “Introducing the new Town & Country here today strengthens our commitment to deliver world-class products that will delight our customers and exceed their expectations.”

MacKenzie added that to ensure the success of their new product and exceed customers’ expectations of it, Chrysler needs world-class support and service as well.

“Through the commitment and professionalism of our partner CATS Motors here in the Philippines, we have every faith our customers will be truly delighted with the entire Town & Country experience,” he said.

The new Town & Country is now available at Chrysler dealerships in Makati (Tel: 815-2222) and Greenhills (Tel: 723-5808). Log on to www.chrysler.com.ph for more details.
