Typhoon ‘Karen’ kills 7 in Northern Luzon
|
|
Typhoon Karen (international codename Nuri) left a total of seven
people dead and around P3.7 million in damages in Northern Luzon,
the National Disaster Coordinating Council NDCC) reported.
Six people died in the Cordilliera Autonomous
Region (CAR) while another was killed in La Union. Most of the
victims were killed in landslides triggered by heavy rains spawned
by the typhoon.
