Pacific Online Systems Corp., the exclusive online lottery systems
provider of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office in Visayas and
Mindanao, told the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday that it has
tied up with Metropass Systems Inc. for the distribution of
ScratchIT instant tickets.
The distribution agreement will allow Pacific
Online to sell the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office ScratchIT
tickets in 22 retail store outlets owned and operated by Metropass
in all 13 Metro Rail Transit Line (MRT) 3 stations.
MRT3 is also connected to the Light Railway
Transit (LRT) stations in Taft Avenue and Cubao stations and to
shopping malls such as EDSA Shangrila Mall, Farmers Plaza Cubao, SM
City Makati and Ayala TriNoma Mall.
The company rolled out its new PCSO ScratchIt
tickets “Red Hot 7s,” “Mega Money,” “Double Dollars” and
“Gold Rush” to complement its “Fast Cash” and “Diamond
Dash” games.
For the first nine months, Pacific Online’s
net income rose by 8 percent to P124.9 million from a year ago as
revenues reached P544 million, 58 percent more than last year. The
improvement in revenues was driven by additional terminals and
introduction of new games.
