Education Sec. Jesli Lapus launches livelihood
project under the OYSTER program of government
|
|
It would definitely be a brighter Christmas for some 14, 000
out-of-school youth in Central Luzon as the Department of Education
(DepEd) undertakes a P56.5 million employment and livelihood program
to help ease their financial needs.
The program was launched on Monday in Tarlac and
Pampanga under the Out-of-School Youth Serving Towards Economic
Recovery (OYSTER) program, a government project where out-of-school
youth are given schools and livelihood opportunities.
