Lozada returns to Manila, but whisked away
|
|
The Supreme Court has stopped the Senate from
arresting Romulo Neri, the beleaguered former director-general of
the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
In a resolution dated February 5, it called for
Neri and the Senate “to observe the status quo prevailing prior”
to January 30. On that date, 16 senators signed a petition for a
warrant of arrest against Neri and another for Rodolfo Lozada Jr.
