Hunk penultimate Marc Nelson will host Kenny Roger’s “Kenny Open
08” at the Rockwell Tent in Makati this Sunday. The whole-day
event, which will kick off at 10 a.m. is Kenny Roger’s attempt to
bring fun, fitness and great food under one roof in one day.
“Admission is free,” says Karen Navarro Cosico, Roasters Phils.
Group marketing director, adding, “The event is also our way of
giving back to our faithful patrons whose supporting us through the
years.” Kenny Open 08 will showcase Kenny Roger’s all time
favorites plus its healthy gourmet offerings. “Given the way we
cook our chicken, our menu is generally healthier than most of our
competitors,” stresses Cosico. Nelson, together with co hosts
Amanda Griffin and Rovilson Fernandez will share to their audience
the secrets to feeling good and looking good. One-on-one health and
diet consultations with dieticians and nutritionists will also be
available to visitors as well as specially choreographed hour-long
routines from Fitness First for everyone to take part in. There’s
something in store for the children too like the Kiddie Corner where
Gymboree and Little Tikes will hold fun and physical activities just
for them. The day would be concluded with the drawing of prizes that
include trips to exciting destinations.
