Gov. Salceda approves P6.6-B energy
project |

The milestone venture represents the largest single
investment in the history of Albay
|

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay: Governor Joey Sarte Salceda
approved the P6.6-billion geothermal project of the Philippine
National Oil Company
(PNOC-EDC) in Manito, Albay. This is a milestone
energy project that places the province among the mainstream
geothermal energy providers in the country.
As Regional Development Council chairman and
head of the Albay Provincial Development Council (APDC), Gov.
Salceda approved the said project to develop the rich geothermal
resources of Manito, a fourth- class coastal town in Albay.
