Ara Mina clarifies rumors
about Willie and Cristine

Suddenly, all seems to be at peace in Willie Revillame’s world leaving him enough time and energy to find romance. His target? Young actress Cristine Reyes who happens to be the younger sister of Ara Mina. So irrepressible is Ara that she has boldly blubbered that she does not approve of Willie for her sister.

One reason seems to be his age. “Niloloko ko siya. Sabi ko, ‘Pappi, my age plus her age equals your age!’’’ she says, adding, ‘’Kasi si Willie, hindi namin ma-timpla kung seryoso o hindi. Basta masarap siyang kasama.”

Ara admits she and Cristine go out with Willie, especially now that the marriage of Willie to Liz Almoro has been annulled. “Barkada naman talaga kaming tatlo, e. Alam naman nating lahat na crush niya [Willie] si Cristine. Pero alam naman ni Cristine kung saan siya lulugar.”

She reveals that Willie would always kid her, “Ate, hintayin ko.” I would answer him, “Ate ka diyan!” Yes, despite Willie’s busy schedules, he finds time to hang out with the lovely sisters. Some take that to mean that there is indeed something going on between Cristine and Willie right before Ate Ara’s eyes. But elder sister insists, “ Nanunuyo pa lang siya. Siyempre kapag nanunuyo ka, kailangan medyo pakitang-gilas ka.”

Everything seems to be coming up roses for Ara, too. She is very happy with her new drama program on ABS-CBN, Prinsesa ng Banyera. She has been getting good reviews for her work in Selda and she is producing an indie film titled Ate, directed by Lore Reyes, which also stars her sister Cristine.
