Bert de Leon (finally!) agrees to go solo |
|
Bert de Leon has been put on the spot. De Leon,
who turned 60 recently, is performing in his first-ever solo concert
on Valentine’s Day at the Hard Rock Café in Makati City. He
admits that the butterflies in his stomach have tripled in number
from the time he agreed to do the show.
“I’m warning everyone that this might be the
first and only time I will agree to star in my own show,” says de
Leon, who is among those credited with the success of programs like
Iskul Bukol and Eat Bulaga. Not many are aware that de Leon, who is
considered TV royalty, plays the guitar, and regularly jams with his
band, Area One.
