THE National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP)
will hold its annual General Council Meeting and Biennial Elections
on March 28 at the Manila Yacht Club on Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
NGAP President and DOTC Secretary
Leandro Mendoza will make his report on the NGAP’s achievements
the last two years and at the same time present the programs that
the golf body should undertake in the future to sustain its gains.
The council will choose for 11
members of the board from where they will elect among themselves the
president, vice-president, secretary-general, treasurer and auditor.
Deadline of submission of
nominees is on February 18. All nominations must be in NGAP office
by 5 p.m.
The NGAP also said the names of
representatives to attend the meeting and vote on behalf of the club
must be submitted on or before February 29, also at 5 p.m.
Only members who are updated in
their payment of annual membership dues are eligible to send
representatives and nominees.

The NGAP also announced that
under the new policy on the payment of membership dues based on the
amended by-laws, the fee is now P10,000 per 9 holes of the course.
