‘Food for school’ program in
Nueva Ecija to benefit 45,405 pupils
|

CABANATUAN CITY: Some 45,405 public school pupils from 19 Nueva
Ecija towns stand to benefit from the “Food for School Program”
that was launched over the weekend, a ranking food grains official
said on Tuesday.
Edelino Alejandro, National Food Authority
provincial manager, said the agency teamed up with the Department of
Education and the local government units to implement the program.

Pagasa to build P10-M early warning
device
|
|
BAGUIO CITY: The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and
Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) disclosed over the
weekend that an amount of P10 million will be used to construct an
early warning device for frost in the town of Ato, Benguet which is
dubbed as “frost prone area” in the province.
