I have been living here in the
Philippines for the past two years and I’d like to think that I am
back home. I have done prosthetic makeup and special effects makeup
work in the United States for about 27 years before I decided to
come home to do my share in a field that I have learned so much
from.
Mastering the art of special
effects, makeup and prosthetics requires a lot of discipline, focus
and years of study and hands-on experience. To write down all these
will take days I suppose. Friends and family have asked why I
decided to fly back to Manila. Let’s just say it is my little way
of giving back, of sharing what I have learned, and to make my
personal contribution to the industries that need it at this time.
