Govt to cut oil tariff anew

THE Philippines is set to reduce the import duty on oil for the second time this year as international crude prices still hover above government estimates.

Energy Secretary Angelo T. Reyes said the Department of Energy has certified a two to three percent cut on the tariff on imported petroleum products on February 18.
