Woods wins, meets Cink in finals
|
|
TUCSON, Arizona: Tiger Woods sank a 15-foot birdie putt on the 17th
hole Saturday (Sunday in Manila) and beat defending champion Henrik
Stenson 2-up to reach the World Golf Championships Accenture Match
Play Championship final.
World’s No. 1 Woods will face fellow American
Stewart Cink, who beat Justin Leonard 4 and 2 in the other
semifinal, in Sunday’s 36-hole title showdown at the $8-million
event.
