Iza Calzado invests in Boracay boutique hotel

We met Iza Calzado in Baguio and she shared that The Tides and Air Philippines have come up with a unique promotion billed “Threesome.” From March until May, everyone who takes Air Philippines to Boracay and stays at The Tides for three days, two nights will get a third night for free. The package also includes daily breakfast, and as well as land boat transfers. Calzado is one of the partners of The Tides.

The Tides Hotel Boracay is the new designer hotel-resort in Boracay. Together with Embassy’s Stephen Ku and Erik Cua, Juan Elizalde, Tim Yap, GP Reyes, Chef Fernando Aracama and fashion director Robby Carmona, Iza invested part of her hard-earned savings in this boutique hotel.

“The Tides is a Zen-like place in Boracay, “ says Calzado, “the black and white theme is simple yet so classy. It’s a place where fun and relaxation meet.”

Calzado feels that it is important for actors like her to save for the rainy days. “We work so hard, and I think that investing in a business that we are passionate about helps us. I’ve always loved Boracay, and I find time to fly there to recharge. When the idea of the The Tides was presented to me, I was immediately drawn to it. Am glad to be part of it, but am especially proud that my partners and I have come up with such a beautiful resort-hotel right in the heart of Boracay.”
