Indonesians’ trial set in Quezon City

Government says trial of Indonesian terrorists in Zamboanga City very risky

THE Supreme Court has granted the plea of the Department of Justice to transfer to a Metro Manila Court the trial of suspected Indonesian terrorists whose cases were filed before the Zamboanga City Regional Trial Court (RTC).

In a two-page resolution, the High Court’s Second Division chaired by Senior Associate Justice Leonardo Quisumbing ordered the transfer of the venue of the case involving all Indonesian nationals who were charged with smuggling of firearms and explosives, and other terrorism-related activities in Mindanao.
