GLORY days are here again as the RP men’s
basketball team mightily conquered its way to Southeast Asian gold
medal during the 24th SEA Games in Thailand this month.
But just like any
other Philippine contingent who competed in the biennial meet, the
victory was not served on a silver platter even for the country’s
most well-funded and pampered team.
THE failure to win a medal in the 24th Southeast
Asian Games is the main reason why the Table Tennis Association of
the Philippines wants to concentrate on grassroots development
program.
DESPITE winning just one gold in the 24th
Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, the Philippine Tae Kwon Do
Association has enough reason to make 2007 a triumphant year.
