The Moro Islamic Liberation Front negotiators boycotted a scheduled round of exploratory talks with the Philippine government in KL last December. As a result a comprehensive GRP-MILF peace with the MILF is now in limbo.

The MILF claims the government reneged on agreements reached in the November exploratory talks in Kuala Lumpur. Individual MILF leaders made this claim. It was repeated in the rebel group’s website.
