Bishop says order on Sumilao issue useless

‘It does not include an explicit cease-and-desist instruction for SMFI to stop activities in the area

EVEN as the influential Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) welcomes President Arroyo’s decision to revert back the contested 144-hectare Sumilao estate in Bukidnon under the coverage of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), some of its members expressed apprehension on the order’s tenor and implications.
