Barakos tame Tigers, ‘commish’ out Jan. 17

Red Bull Barako went on an offensive outburst to repulse the Coca-Cola Tigers, 116-99, Wednesday to keep their hopes for a semifinal slot alive in the 2007 Smart-PBA Philippine Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.

The Yeng Guiao-mentored squad had four players tallying in double figures, while the rest of the team displayed grit all game long to secure its 10th win in 17 matches that tied them with the idle Alaska Aces for the third spot.
