Citidorm Blumentritt offers security, comfort

Pacific Multi-Home, Inc. recently held the blessing and inauguration of the Citidorm Blumentritt—a 33-unit dormitory on Blumentritt Street corner Leonor Rivera. Secretary Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua of the Commission of Information and Communications Technology and Dr. Teofilo Bangayan, president of the Chinese General Hospital, cut the ribbon, while Fr. Vic Robles, parish priest of Sto. Niño Parish in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, blessed the building. The dormitory has proximity to the Chinese General Hospital and other schools.

Panya Lee, dorm supervisor, says that the management is concerned with the protection and security of its tenants.

Citidorm is open to both males and females and can accommodate a minimum of 50 people with 33 rooms. All rooms are fully furnished with five square meters to 10 square meters catering to single, twin, triple and quadruple sharing. Monthly rental starts as low as P2,083 inclusive of water. The building has also been designed for safety with each floor having easy access to a fire escape. Fire extinguishers are also available.

Besides this there are other amenities. Each room has provision for air-conditioning, telephone and Internet access and individual electric meter. Plus the building is designed with a sky light for good ventilation; balcony, lounge area, pantry, washing and drying area are also provided. Last but not the least, there is a 24-hour security. The perimeter of the building is surrounded by fast food establishments, Internet café, convenience store, laundry service, water-refilling station, and public transport which is really available.
