Tokyo to look for
terrorist
suspects in 3-D: official |
|
Tokyo plans to set up
three-dimensional cameras across the city in the world's most
advanced system yet to pinpoint terrorist suspects, a local official
said Friday.
Tokyo will launch joint research
among police, companies and universities to develop the facial
recognition system ahead of the 2016 Summer Olympics, which the
metropolis is bidding to host, the official said.
