Gov. lauds ‘judicial activism’

‘Green courts’ strenghten implementation of environmental laws

ALBAY Governor Joey Sarte Salceda urges the Supreme Court to expedite the litigation of cases involving ecological concerns by designating environmental appellate courts.

The appeal was made after the High Court created 117 environmental “green courts” to handle cases related to the environment.
