CEBU CITY: Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña suspects a
national
smuggling syndicate is operating in Cebu, with players coming from
the Subic and Zamboanga ports and may even include Land
Transportation Office (LTO) officials, reported the Philippine News
Agency.
Osmeña said he believes
smugglers have made Cebu a dumping ground of hot cars, which would
eventually be transported to Luzon and Mindanao.
